Girardi Teaching Sanchez?!

In what seems to be an odd, yet maybe very smart move, the Jets have decided to bring in current Yankees coach Joe Girardi to teach Mark Sanchez how to slide.  Girardi focused on showing Sanchez how to slide and hook his leg while protecting the ball.  I guess the Jets are serious about protecting the “Sanchise”.  Thinking about it, it’s a pretty good idea, since he typically dives head first.  Maybe they can bring in CC to teach him how to throw and A-Rod can teach him how to dress…

    How many stolen bases did Girardi have in his playing days? 4? Should have brought Jeets or JD in for the lesson. I love this site!!!
